States of Matter & Properties of Matter Book with Science Experiments

This Matter Science (STEM) Book covers the material you’ll need to introduce the States of Matter & the Properties of Matter to your student. to your students. The book reviews:
What is matter?
How matter is classified. (I’ve chosen to omit plasma at the moment, however, you may choose to include it).
A ‘Sorting Matter’ Activity. The cut-outs for this activity can be found on the ‘Sorting Matter Picture Page’ at the end of the document.
Physical Properties of Matter. For this activity, you’ll need 4 different types of matter, magnets, and water.
An ice-cream-making experiment. You may want to test the experiment to make sure you’ve got it down before completing it with your students.
The States of Matter.
A Gas Experiment with Pop Rocks.
Changes of State (Freezing, Melting, Evaporation, Condensation). I’ve chosen to highlight these since they are familiar and perhaps easier to explain to elementary students. However, if you would like to include sublimation & deposition, feel free to do so).
A fun drawing tutorial teaching your students how to draw a cube. I’ve found that this is a relatively common drawing in Science and Math, but unfortunately, many students struggle with it.
